- New Member Class Risen Christ is offering a New Member class on Sunday mornings at 9:15am. This 8 week Bible study on the foundational teachings of the church provides an opportunity to individuals and families to get to know Risen Chrirst and her teachings. Anyone interested in joining Risen Christ is welcome to attend. Members are also welcome to attend and refresh their faith foundation, and are encouraged to bring a friend!

Join Hands Day Project: This is a national day of volunteering where kids and adults come together to improve local communities. Please join us as we work together to touch lives!! We will be collecting canned food donations at Risen Christ Lutheran Church starting Sunday, April 28th, 2013 and will run through Friday, May 3rd, 2013, between 6:30am to 6:00pm.

Youth Rummage Sale: As you are doing your spring cleaning, consider donating items to the youth! The youth will have a rummage sale on May 24th & 25th to help earn their way to the 2013 National Youth Gathering. If you have items to donate, please contact Pastor Steve (386-2342; pastorhenderson@risenchristdavenport.org). Thanks for supporting the Risen Christ Youth!

Worship Bags Risen Christ was given several worship bags that are now located just outside the sanctuary for families to use. Included in these worship bags are crayons, a coloring book, and a notebook for children to enjoy. Encourage them to participate in worship as they color and draw images from the church.
