New Bible Studies beginning Sunday, April 22nd!
Grieving With Jesus: For those who comfort others in their grief. Beginning April 22nd at 9:15 am in the Fellowship Hall.
In Jesus’ resurrection we know that we have victory over death.  Through faith, we know that death is an enemy that has been destroyed by Jesus.  In Scripture, we read that death and the grave no longer have their sting.  But what do we do when someone we know or care deeply about is grieving the death of a loved one?  What comfort can we provide?  How can we help?  Grieving with Jesus is a Bible study that will help Christians know how to care for those who are grieving by equipping them with God’s powerful Word and a map of the pitfalls that we often fall into.
This Bible study will also provide useful workshops that are designed for the issues of the end of earthly life.  Watch the calendar for more information.

1st John  -  Love In ActionIn connection with our sermon series, Love In Action, during our Adult Bible Study we will be taking a closer look at the Apostle John’s first epistle.  This short but powerful book describes God’s amazing love for us and also teaches us how to put God’s love into action in our own lives!  This Bible Study meets in the Sanctuary.

Vacation Bible School  Registration for SKY: Everything is Possible with God is available here. Risen Christ VBS will be June 11-15 from 9:00 a.m. until noon.  VBS is open for 3 year olds (potty trained) through youth entering 5th grade.  A donation is requested in the amount of $5 a child or $10 a family.  Join us in June as we see just how high God’s love is for us!

Worship Bags Risen Christ was given several worship bags that are now located just outside the sanctuary for families to use.  Included in these worship bags are crayons, a coloring book, and a notebook for children to enjoy. Encourage them to participate in worship as they color and draw images from the church.
