New Member Class: Beginning Tuesday, January 24th at 6:30pm
Risen Christ is beginning a new member class on Tuesday, January 24th at 6:30pm.  This is an 8 week Bible study on the foundational teachings of the Lutheran Church.  Anyone interested in joining Risen Christ, or interested in a refresher on the church’s teachings, is welcome to attend.  Please invite a friend to come and learn about our amazing church family here at Risen Christ.  If you are interested in attending, please sign up in the fellowship hall.

Thrivent Choice: If you have not designated your Thrivent choice dollars be sure to do so by the end of the year (remember you may still have money to designate even if you already have distributed money this year).  There are help sheets in the fellowship hall to assist you in this process.  You can also contact your Thrivent representative or Pastor Steve for assistance.

LifeLight We will begin our new LifeLight Bible Study on Tuesday, January 10th at 6:30pm and Wednesday, January 11th at 9am.  We will study the books of Ephesians, 1st Thessalonians, and 2nd Thessalonians.  Join us as we grow in God’s Word!

Pre-Marriage Workshop:
February 4th from 11am – 4pm
Risen Christ and Trinity are partnering with Thrivent to bring a strong biblical view of marriage for those preparing to enter this special relationship (hosted at Trinity Lutheran Church).  If you, or someone you know, are getting married please invite them to this special workshop where the biblical purpose and view of marriage will be covered as well as equipping couples to live in healthy and God pleasing marriage relationships.  If you have questions, please contact Pastor Steve at 563-386-2342 or pastorhenderson@risenchristdavenport.org.

Lift High the Cross Is Risen Christ's theme for our capital stewardship campaign. Join us as we take this spiritual journey centered on John 3:14-15 "The Son of Man must be lifted up, that everyone who believes in Him may have eternal life." Men’s Bible Breakfast  -  Revelation   All men are invited to join us Saturday, January 7th at 8:00 a.m. for a new video-based Bible study on the book of Revelation.  Join us for Great Food, Great Fellowship and a Great Time in God’s Word!  Come and learn the meaning and purpose of this fascinating and important book of the Bible!  

Worship Bags Risen Christ was given several worship bags that are now located just outside the sanctuary for families to use.  Included in these worship bags are crayons, a coloring book, and a notebook for children to enjoy. Encourage them to participate in worship as they color and draw images from the church.
